The Green Growers volunteer on community garden projects across the borough.

Next event: Sunday 24 September, at the East Dulwich Estate Community Garden. There's a raised bed that's intended for community use but has become overgrown. We'll clear the weeds and plant veg that will grow over the next few months: fast-growing winter salads, spinach and radishes.

Nearest stations: East Dulwich or Denmark Hill, buses 40, 484, 176, 185 all stop nearby. Head for the Albrighton Community Centre Albrighton Rd, London SE22 8AH (entrance to the garden is between Tidworth and Ledbury blocks of flats).
