Curry and Policy Bites

ALL_WELCOME(4).png

What will the General Election on 8 June mean for Southwark - and for you? For the UK - and for Europe?

Join us for a shared meal and discussion of current issues in a friendly setting.

Camberwell social enterprise BrewBird Cafe @brewbirdCo will be cooking a vegan curry, served with your choice of craft beer, wine or soft drink. The bar will be open and also serves teas and coffees.

Speakers will offer five minute tasters of Green Party policies followed by informal discussion.

Topics include the upcoming election, fair votes, and how to tackle air pollution. Plus Peckham planning issues, sustainable transport, renewable energy and solar power.

Open to all, non-members very welcome.

NB Bookings for food have now closed, but you are very welcome to come along to join us for a drink - the bar will be open all evening, with a wide selection of beers, coffees and teas.
