Green Party Assembly Member Sian Berry will be speaking at our AGM, speaking about her work representing Londoners. We'll also be electing our new committee and reviewing the last year.
Sian was third in the race for Mayor, with a record vote for a Green candidate, and was elected to the London Assembly alongside Caroline Russell AM.
Sian joined the Greens in 2001 and has always combined electoral politics with campaigning on issues within the community. She's a transport campaigner by profession and a Green Party councillor in Camden.
She was elected to Camden Council representing Highgate Ward in May 2014, taking over after eight years from previous Green councillor Maya de Souza. As a councillor, she raised many issues around funding local services and conditions for local workers, particularly the Living Wage.
Since May she has been active in the London Assembly, she has recently launched the results of her Renters Survey, highlighting the plight of renters across the capital.
Non-members are very welcome to join us from 8pm (the first part is members only), please share this event with Green leaning friends.

Southwark Green Party is run by volunteers, with a little help from the central office. Therefore the committee plays a crucial role in maintaining, growing and developing the local party, along with a committed band of volunteers. We will be recruiting our new committee and are also looking for volunteers to join our communications team, campaigns team and help us build our campaign for the 2018 council elections.
