Training: Talking to voters

leafletting.jpgListening and talking to local residents is at the heart of strong, grassroots political representation. This relaxed, collaborative and practical training session will give you the skills and confidence to talk to local residents.

This session not only covers practical techniques but also the basics of Green Party policies, key issues in Southwark and how to talk to voters about them.

What we'll cover:

  • Kicking off the conversation
  • Asking open questions
  • Dealing with difficult questions
  • Using canvassing sheets and 60-second surveys
  • Key issues in Southwark
  • How to talk about Green Party policies

There will be an opportunity to put your new skills to use at our Action Day on the 18th March, either on a stall or going door to door.

We'll be in the snug of the Grand Union pub, Camberwell Grove. It's a ten minute walk from Denmark Hill station (on Overground) and from the many buses that stop at Camberwell Green (35, 36, 40, 45, 176, 185, 436, 484 etc). Please let us know you are coming!
