Big Bottle Count

Do something practical to clean up the river! Help get single-use plastics out of the sea - starting near home.

We're joining Thames 21 and the #OneLess bottle campaign to count (and remove) plastic drink bottles.

With the help of volunteers all across the tidal Thames, Thames 21 are going to attempt to count and remove all the bottles on river's foreshore, and with that send an important message about the scale of this challenge. Last year, they visited 11 sites and retrieved 2,500 bottles.

Southwark Greens will be at Millwall Dock 2-4pm - we'll meet at Canada Water and take the tube to Canary Wharf together.

Please register here saying you'd like to help at Millwall Dock and drop us a line on [email protected] if you want to meet up to travel there together.

Meeting point: Canada Water tube from 1.15, leaving at 1.30 sharp.
